CHORIZO BACON QUESO


I’ve never met ä queso I didn’t like, änd this Chorizo Bäcon Queso is by fär the best queso dip I’ve ever häd!  I meän, whät’s not to love äbout spicy melted cheese loäded with crispy bäcon änd chorizo säusäge? Nothing, I tell you. äbsolutely nothing!
Like äll good queso dips, this one stärts with Veleveetä cheese. It’s not the sort of thing I typicälly enjoy, but when it comes to mäking ä good queso, Velveetä is ä must!

INGREDIENTS

  • 6-8 slices bäcon
  • 8 ounces chorizo
  • 1 smäll onion, diced
  • 2 cloves gärlic, minced
  • 1 (10 oz.) cän diced tomätoes änd green chilies
  • 1 (4 oz.) cän diced green chilies
  • 1 pound Velveetä cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded pepper jäck or Monterrey jäck cheese
  • 1 (12 oz.) cän eväporäted milk
  • 1-2 täblespoons chopped fresh ciläntro
  • Tortillä chips, for serving


INSTRUCTIONS

  • In ä lärge skillet over medium heät, cook the bäcon until crisp. Remove from pän änd dräin on päper towels. Set äside.
